Early Screening and Concept

Know early whether the idea is worth taking further

Most projects spend months on an idea that a short outside look could have confirmed or stopped. An independent specialist screens the concept against the market, the rules, the technology and the site, and tells you plainly what is solid and what is not.

Where early screening sits in your project

Screening comes before the money is spent. It decides whether the concept moves on to the feasibility study and financial model, and it flags early whether feedstock supply can support the scale you have in mind. It is the first step of the roadmap to bankability.

How the screening runs

1. Frame. The specialist collects what exists on your concept and agrees the questions that matter.

2. Test. The concept is tested against market, rules, technology, feedstock and site.

3. Decide. You receive a short verdict with the open points and the next steps, whether to go on, reshape or stop.

Who carries out the work. An independent specialist from the network I work with, with a background in project development in low-carbon fuels, leads the work, speaks with you directly and presents the results. My part is to introduce the right expert and to connect the findings to your discussions with investors and lenders.

What the screening covers

Market and rules

Who would buy the fuel, at what scale and under which regulatory conditions, based on the markets you aim at.

Technology and feedstock

Whether the process route fits the feedstock you can actually secure, and where the first technical doubts lie.

Site and partners

Whether the location, utilities and logistics work, and which partners the project still needs.

What you get from the screening

  • A short screening report with a clear verdict
  • The main strengths and weaknesses of the concept
  • A list of the data and studies still missing
  • An outline of the next steps and their order
  • A shared view your partners can work from
