Market Entry
A local representative in Southeast Asia
I act as the person on the ground for technology providers, service companies and product makers who want to sell in Southeast Asia without opening a local office. I stay in regular contact with your customers and prospects, and I build and maintain your pipeline over time.
Why a local presence matters
Southeast Asian buyers rarely commit on the strength of a brochure or a conference meeting. They want someone they can call, who understands their constraints, follows up after the quote and is still there six months later.
Most foreign suppliers cannot justify a full local team before they have a pipeline, and follow-up from abroad loses momentum between time zones, languages and public holidays.
How I work with you
I work as a long-term extension of your commercial team, not as a fixed programme. I am your regular point of contact in the market.
- I stay in touch with your customers and prospects, in person and by phone, so they always know who to call.
- I build your pipeline: I identify target accounts, make the introductions and follow each opportunity through to a decision.
- I keep the pipeline alive with regular follow-ups after quotes, and by tracking tenders and project milestones.
- I report what I hear on the ground, such as pricing pressure, competitors and local requirements, so you can adjust.
- I connect you with local partners (installers, distributors, engineering firms) when you need them. See also Strategic Partnerships and the Ecosystem.
I do not sign contracts on your behalf, and I do not provide investment advice or arrange investments.
